Asta cookware was produced in Germany, primarily by Fissler, from the mid-19th century until the late 20th century. The manufacturing of Asta enamelware spanned from 1851 to the 1980s. Asta enamel cookware is designed to be compatible with both gas and electric stoves. In fact, many pieces of vintage Asta enamelware explicitly state compatibility with electric, or gas. Be sure you zoom in to be sure this is what you expect! We have our own business code put invisibly on each piece we sell/ Unseen by naked eye to identify it from another piece. If item says “used” do expect to see that but still has plenty of use yet and is still very nice. After all, not everything sold on eBay is new!
