Rare Antique Staffordshire Creamware Teapot with Teal & Brown Enamel Decoration
~ Fine Antique Staffordshire Creamware Teapot Painted with Teal and Brown Enamels circa 1800 ~

5 1/2” high to finial ~ 8 1/2” long from handle to spout

 A beautifully decorated early Staffordshire creamware cylindrical teapot and lid with ball finial.

Painted with three rows of teal and brown leaf vines, also decorated with teal edges to the handle and dots to the spout.

Has a tag from a Sotheby’s 1997 auction inside.

The body is in excellent antique condition without any chips cracks or repairs I can see or feel.

The lid has two small chips to the edge which don’t show terribly from the top when in place, see pics.
